Do you have a Trinitarian Small Group?
There are three members of your group that are always present: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Sometimes you hear a person pray for God's presence. Is the issue God's presence or is it us living in the truth of His presence. The Trinity doesn't need to be invited into your group, they are already there. Your group needs to experience the presence of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. So what does this look like? How can you lead and facilitate your group time in such a way that your group experiences the Trinity? I have some thoughts on this that I will share with you over the next few weeks. I do want to hear your thoughts on this. It's easy; just hit "reply" and send me your comments.
Here's the value of thinking about this. If we focus only on the faces that we see in our group and inadvertently ignore the all powerful ability of the Personalities that are unseen, we can be missing out on a growing experience of the life-changing presence of the Trinity. When the unseen members of your group are intermingling with the group, you don't just meet with each other to discuss the study and pray, you experience a unity of meeting with God.
Next week: Experiencing God the Father
Also, a reminder that the deadlineto sign up for coaching is September 15. If interested, please email Donna and we will be in touch with you.
