Serving our Local Partners through ECHO
As a church we support 13 faith-based organizations in our community both financially and through volunteers. We count it a blessing to serve alongside these ministry partners as they share the love and gospel of Jesus Christ to those that they serve on a daily basis. During ECHO, we always look forward to serving our ministry partners.
The opportunity to serve our ministry partners during ECHO accomplishes two major things. First, it allows us to help with projects that just can’t seem to get done during a regular week and second, it gives those serving that organization a first-hand look at the ministry that takes place and how they are serving our community in very unique and impactful ways. Keep on reading to hear from Pam Williams, Director of Agape Women’s Services, how ECHO impacts their ministry each year.
We love ECHO Time! A lot of things just can't be done during regular business hours. We can always count on ECHO volunteers to come in and do the things we can't seem to get done. They brighten our office with a fresh coat of paint in needed areas, clean our carpet, sort and arrange shelves that seem to get out of shape throughout the year. The ECHO team always come with supplies in hand with ready and able people to serve us. We are so thankful for the job ECHO does and their great attitude for serving. Thanks GFC for your ECHO Teams!
