Women's Yoga


Body, Mind, and Spirit | A Faith-Based Yoga Class

Facilitator: Rhonda Lacey-Peters
When: Thursday evenings
Time: 5:30-6:45pm
Location: Room 402
Materials Needed: Please bring your own mat (if you have one) and a thick blanket.
Cost: suggested $5 donation per class 

God instructs us in Psalm 46:10 to"...be still and know that I am God." Yoga quiets us down, both mentally and physically. For Christians who find little time for prayer and contemplation in the hectic modern world, regular yoga practice literally forces us to be still. If you are a stiff, over-worked modern woman who would like to renew a tired body, mind, and spirit, yoga will relax you unlike anything else and help quiet your mind. Registration not required.


Tuesday Morning Yoga Class

Facilitator: Jan Kincaid
When: Tuesday mornings
Time: 9:30-10:45am
Location: Room 401A
Materials Needed: Please bring your own mat (if you have one)
Cost: suggested $5 donation per class 

This will be a Gentle Flow class for everyone and every body type. We will take it slow and easy allowing for pose modifications when needed. Class intension will be set with opening scripture. If you have never done yoga, that's fine. Bring a mat if you have one. If not I will have a few extras. TJ Maxx and Target both carry inexpensive mats. It's a small investment in your first step to a healthy you! Registration not required.
