Hospitality

This team helps to create a warm, welcoming environment as they offer a friendly smile, a helping hand, and information that allows guests to better experience the love of Christ. No prior experience or training is required for any of the positions listed below.

Supports the Hospitality team by serving during the week in preparation for Sunday and special events like Communion, Christmas, and Easter.

Provides a warm welcome to guests as they arrive and a friendly farewell as they exit our campus. Greeters are stationed at external doors and may provide guests with general directions and information about our church. Greeters serve one Sunday a month in two shifts on Sunday morning.

Welcomes guests in one of our four main hallways by showing them around the church and providing an information or help they may need. Hallway hosts serve one Sunday a month.

Serve all guests in the parking lot by initiating with a warm welcome, clear directions, and a fond farewell.

Access Ministry for Individuals of All Abilities

We celebrate the unique way God created each of us in His image by partnering with families impacted by disabilities.

Serve in our adult class as we worship together, learn from God’s word, and practice life skills in a group setting.

We partner one on one with students from birth – 18 years old to respond to each person’s individual needs while pointing them to Jesus.

Connect in a community group for parents of children living with a disability. This group is ongoing, meets weekly in the evenings at GFC, and childcare is provided. Click here to find out more.

Kids

By serving in the children’s ministry (birth through 5th grade), you will help create engaging atmospheres where kids can take their next steps toward Christ. A background check is required.

facilitates the large group kids worship experience

helps operate video and graphics in the large group setting to help create an engaging and relevant environment for kids (no experience required)

connects relationally with 8-10 children to speak truth into their lives and celebrate spiritual growth

provides a safe, caring environment where children with special needs learn about God’s love for them

communicates the Bible story and bottom line in such a way that it becomes unforgettable to a child

leads kids with energy and enthusiasm to worship God for who He is and what He’s done

Students

Grace Students hosts a Sunday night gathering for students grades 6-12 and meets Sundays from 6:30-8:30pm in The Student Center. Please note that a background check is required.

for students who want to help operate video and graphics in the large group setting to help create an engaging and relevant environment for students (no experience required)

for adults who want to lead or co-lead a gender/grade specific Community Group on Sunday nights by building and sustaining relationships with students with the goal of life transformation through God’s Word.

these adults serve on a team, as needed, in order to help with greeting, registration, decorating, food preparation and serving, promotion, set up and tear down, and other miscellaneous responsibilities

for students who have a desire to lead their peers with energy and enthusiasm in worshipping our one, true, living God!

Communications

Communications helps provide clear, authentic, and compelling messaging in order engage people within and outside of our church.

Looking for experienced graphic designers to Collaborate with the Communications Coordinator to design graphics for a variety of projects such as social media, ministry events,  and other initiatives (experience required)

We’re looking for professional photographers that would be interested in capturing GFC events such as Echo, Joy Prom, Mountain View Activities, Christmas and Easter services, and other special projects or events.

Take pictures of GFC worship services and activities, suggest captions, capture quotes from messages and send them to the Communications Coordinator for use on GFC’s social media channels.

Worship Arts

Worship Arts creates engaging environments in which our congregation can worship together and learn about God’s word.

assists the worship leader in skillfully leading others into a time of worship through song (requires an audition)

baptism volunteers assist with the backstage logistics of the baptism services, which happen about 4 times a year

serves in a variety of ways, including: running lyrics, helping as a stagehand, running sound, running lighting cues, and occasionally helping with special concerts and events in the facility (no experience required)

assists the worship leader by both singing and facilitating an atmosphere conducive to congregational worship (requires an audition)

Be a part of our Sunday services by assisting with the transition from worship to teaching on stage during each service. When: Sunday mornings, 8:40-10:30am and/or 10:30-12:30pm

Women

Grace Women seeks to cultivate women who live missional lives for Christ. You can help women experience Christ and live with passion — leading by example!

initiates discussion with guided questions for a small group or during a Grace Women Event

facilitates a group study for women on-site or in a home to encourage growth in God’s Word, personal life change, and connection for Grace Women

serves on a team, as needed, in order to help with greeting, registration, decorating, food preparation and serving, promotion, set up and tear down, and other miscellaneous responsibilities

Care

Care Ministry is committed to caring for individuals and showing them the love of Christ in different ways. By leading care groups, meeting immediate needs, and being present with people during difficult and trying times, you can help hurting people experience healing, recovery, and growth in Christ.

Care Team: Prayer – engage is gospel conversations and prayer with people exploring faith in Jesus after a worship service or join a group of prayer warriors who meet on Friday from 7-8am or Sunday from 8-9am in the Starting Point room.

Care Team: Care in Action – Prepare a meal for family members after surgery or a death. Make a phone call or visit to those unable to attend worship services, or pray with those who are hospitalized, as you are available on as as-needed basis.

Care Team: Mentor – Mentor a participant going through Re:Generation. This would be a 1-year commitment to meet with a participant for an hour a week as they work through the 12-steps. Training provided the first Monday of each month from 6:30-8:30pm, as well as ongoing support as needed.

Support Admin

This team does a lot of essential behind the scenes work to make ministry possible at GFC. By answering the phone, scheduling rooms, keeping the grounds looking nice, and so much more, you can help with day-to-day ministry.

assists with facility maintenance, such as stacking chairs, cleaning rooms, etc.

helps with office administration tasks such as stuffing envelopes, answering phones, etc.

Groups

Groups are a great way to meet people, develop relationships, grow spiritually, and make a larger church seem small.

provides a consistent, comfortable, and welcoming environment in their home for a community group to meet together.

leads a small group of people in which each person is connecting relationally with others and growing spiritually in their faith.

Grace Men

Men’s groups and events are designed for men to interact with each other and develop spiritually.

leads a small group of men in which each man is connecting relationally with others and growing spiritually in their faith.

Senior Adults

The Senior Adults Ministry provides several groups and events that are a great way to connect and grow together.

helps plan and implement various special events for senior adults throughout the year

helps provide leadership to the senior adult ministry by attending meetings to plan for events, Bible studies, and give overall direction to the ministry

Mountain View

Our partnerships with Mountain View Elementary School serve one of the most economically and educationally challenged areas of our city. These serving opportunities build into the lives of students, teachers, and families in our community.

This team packs bags of food that go to select children at the school to help provide for their weekend food needs.

This team provides encouragement for school staff through a monthly lunch and other tangible expressions of care.

Grace Young Adults

Grace Young Adults is committed to creating space for young adults ranging from age 18 to early 30s that exalts Jesus by growing together and reaching our community. There are several ways to get involved with GYA to reach the next generation and directly impact young adults in our community.

Care families welcome a college student or students into their home once a month to share a meal and conversation.

Global Media Outreach (GMO) is a ministry using technology to reach hundreds of thousands for Christ each month.

People need Christ all over the world! Daily, millions of people conduct spiritual searches on the Internet. Seekers from every nation on earth go searching for God, and in increasing numbers since the pandemic began. Global Media Outreach (GMO) is a ministry using technology to reach hundreds of thousands for Christ each month. GMO’s vision is that everyone on earth receives multiple opportunities to know Jesus. They have a desire to see millions trust Him, grow in faith, and connect them to Christian community.
