Executive Assistant

Time Required: 20-25 Hours/Week

Typical Weekly Work Schedule: Monday–Thursday, Occasional Weeknights and Weekends

Position Summary:

Provide executive-level administrative support to the Lead Pastor to help carry out the mission and vision of Grace Fellowship Church.


Job Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Schedule appointments and maintain the Lead Pastor’s calendar in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide timely reminders and updates for relevant pastoral care items, deadlines, approvals needed, etc.
  • Prepare church-wide communications from the Lead Pastor by proofreading, formatting, and sending in a timely manner
  • Order supplies as requested and maintain the Lead Pastor’s budget and receipts
  • Prioritize and manage projects as assigned
  • Prepare surveys, reports, presentations, and materials as requested
  • Provide support for elder meetings and retreats
  • Effectively utilize church management software (Planning Center)
  • Occasionally cover the front office on a rotation basis
  • Count offering/sign checks on a rotation basis
  • Attend all required staff and team meetings
  • Be available to provide additional assistance when needed

Job Skills/Experience

  • College degree
  • 5 years minimum of administrative experience; experience as executive assistant preferred
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills; organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle tasks and projects with little or no supervision
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Ability to supervise other administrative support personnel
  • High decision-making ability
  • Proficiency in MS Office software

Building Custodian

Time Required: 25-30 Hours/Week

Position Summary:

Seeking a highly motivated self-starter for cleaning, room set ups, and opening/closing the facility. Must be able to work a flexible schedule. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on Sundays. Experience preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate. Pay will be commensurate with experience. Drug screen and physical will be required. 25-30 hours per week, Part time position.
