When in Need, Pray.
God invites us to cast our cares on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). We are also encouraged to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Praying for each other is an indispensable part of caring for one another.
There are 2 weekly prayer group meetings open to anyone who would like to join together and pray:
When/Where: Fridays at 7-8am in the GFC Café, or Sundays at 8-9am in the Starting Point Room
You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you would like! Update on my Father Charles. He went to Vanderbilt got a stent put in and everything went well! He is on some new medications so continue to pray his medications are working well for him! As long as the medication is working and he is eating healthy and having a healthy lifestyle then he could have many more years!! I am so thankful! Overjoyed! God is so great! He is full of surprises! I cannot thank you enough for all of the prayers! Praise God! Thank you! Thank you! I don't usually do this , but I have an unspoken prayer request. God knows the people and the need. Having a heart ablation on Monday June 7th at 10am. Please pray for correction of an issue lingering since having COVID in November. Please continue to pray for my husband Josh. The cardiologist will have to go through his right foot to do an angiogram on his arteries. Also he will have a PET/CT for the nodule on his right lung Thursday, June 3rd and a Pulmonary Function Test on June 29th. He will see a urologist on June 7th for the cyst on his right kidney. Pray that the nodule on his lung and the cyst on his kidney are not cancerous. Jackson Carr- tumor in brain. Please pray for my friend's grandson. He fell and hit his head hard on concrete garage floor. Took to er to check him out. Found an unsuspecting finding of a mass in his brain. Admitted and transferred to a hospital in Memphis to see a neurosurgeon. He is 5. His name is Jackson Carr. Still much uncertainty, but they have just landed in Memphis.
5-29 Update on my father Charles.
The new medications (and prayer) are working! I'm shocked how much better he's feeling and moving! So thankful! But his heart is still weak! Most likely that will not change. To have a heart transplant he has to be in tip top shape! Please pray for his continual recovery! And I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all your prayers! We still have a long road ahead but we have hope! Thank you and God Bless!! My neighbor son is very sick in hospital with liver problems and on ventilator and the drs don’t expect him to make it I pray Gods wisdom and peace fills your hearts with his healing love. I pray for abundance in his blessings, I pray against spiritual opposition in your life. I pray the hardest path to follow is yours with Jesus. I pray temptation, sin and anger, disappointment or pride are not part of you path. I pray your hearts are entwined with Jesus in his offering of salvation. I pray your humble, gentle spirit understands the fullness of his love and our need to walk in Jesus' perfection.
Amen
