Monthly Give
Each month, GFC features a way in which you can give in order to reach the community and show God’s love. You’ll find Giving Bins at each entrance to our facility, and we invite you to simply place your donated items in the bin.
Good Samaritan Food and Supplies Drive:
Help ease the burden on those who are homeless or struggling right now by providing urgently needed items through Good Samaritan Ministries. Items can be dropped off outside on the right side of their building at 100 North Roan Street, Johnson City, from 9:00am-3:00pm, M-F. Click here for a list of needed items
These are simple, ongoing ways to support our partnership with Mountain View Elementary School:
BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION: Collecting these food item labels can raise money for the school, and at 10 cents per box top, these can add up quickly! You can participate by collecting the Box Top labels from your purchases, and drop them in the collection bins at the main GFC entrances. Just look for the Box Tops logo found on many grocery items. New this year, you can also download the Box Tops mobile app and scan your store receipt to find participating items that will add to your school’s earnings online. No clipping required!
GROCERY STORE SCHOOL REWARDS : Your local grocery shopping can help support Mountain View Elementary School through store rewards programs! Each school year, these grocery chains will support designated local schools. The more you shop, the more points the school collects.
- Food City School Bucks – To register your account, log into your ValuCard account to link to Mountain View. Search for the school name, or School ID 40609. You may also request an in-store clerk to link your card.
- Kroger Community Rewards – To register your account, log into your Plus Card account to link to Mountain View. Search for the school name, or MD509.
