When in Need, Pray.
God invites us to cast our cares on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). We are also encouraged to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Praying for each other is an indispensable part of caring for one another.
There are 2 weekly prayer group meetings open to anyone who would like to join together and pray:
When/Where: Fridays at 7-8am in the GFC Café, or Sundays at 8-9am in the Starting Point Room
You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you would like! Josh and I want to thank all of you who prayed for him. We learned today that the nodule in his right lung is not cancerous. Praise God from whom all blessings flow. He will have another scan in 6 months. Please continue to pray for him as he still has to have a mass removed form his bladder. Please pray they will get him scheduled soon. Please help me pray for strength and guidance as I ask for forgiveness from those I have hurt in the past. Please also help me to forgive those who have hurt me, and to help me know the difference between forgiveness and boundaries. Thank you. In about two weeks I will have an MRI due to prostate issues. Please join me in asking God for good results, no cancer, and that this becomes a time of testimony of His power and grace to the nurses and doctors who may be expecting a different result. Your prayers are much appreciated.
I attend Grace. Please pray for Ashlyn (37 weeks pregnant with Cohen) with unexpected complications limiting his growth. Please pray for a successful delivery this week and that he will grow and thrive in the NICU! Thank you for those who prayed for my dear Aunt Kathleen while she was in ICU with pneumonia and later in rehab. She has made a full recovery and we praise God for graciously answering prayer! Please pray for my brother who has a large lump on this throat. He goes for a needle aspiration on Wednesday. Pray that this is benign. When it rains it pours. My father has cancer and we have been praying him back to health. Now my mother had a bad fall on concrete. She broke her mandible bones on both sides, fractured her chin bone, popped her tmj out of socket and loosened two teeth. She is in a hospital in Dallas awaiting surgery. The schedule is terrible. She won’t have her surgery until Thursday and this happened Monday. Please pray for her to be as comfortable as possible and be able to rest until surgery. Thx You have been praying for my father and his lymphoma cancer. He has had six chemotherapy treatments, and just had a follow up pet scan. All of the lymphoma on his skin and inside his body on his organs and bones are clear for now. He still has a spot on his left lung but it has shrunk by 1/2. There is a new growth in his right lung that will be biopsied tomorrow. Please pray for the results. Thank you for all of your prayers. We have all felt them and God has certainly answered them. Prayer for forgiveness and deliverance out of the abuse I've been going through. Please pray for a co-worker who has invasive breast cancer and is not doing well. Please pray for her parents, husband and young children. Phoebie Nunn
