When in Need, Pray.
God invites us to cast our cares on Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). We are also encouraged to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Praying for each other is an indispensable part of caring for one another.
Note: Please submit each prayer request only once. They are reviewed manually, and can take up to 24 hours before being approved. Thank you!
There are 2 weekly prayer group meetings open to anyone who would like to join together and pray:
Fridays: 7-8am in the GFC Café.
Sundays: 8-8:30am in the East Group Room, praying for the GFC community, and 8:30-9am praying for the Sunday worship services.
I've been the victim of gossip since childhood. I guess I'm a little socially awkward and I'm not good at standing up for myself. Someone I admire very much (a Christian at my church) has been gossiping about me and slandering me to others. She has begun to treat me differently than she does other people at the church. I'm very hurt and don't want to go back, but my husband makes me go to church there. I've given up on believing God will help me, but maybe if you pray He'll answer.
