Dear GFC Community,
Late July means, among other things, soaking up the last few days of summer, complaining about the weather (“it’s so hot!”), navigating back to school shopping lists and sales, and a new school year (as well as ministry year at Grace Fellowship Church) is right around the corner!
This coming Sunday, August 3, we begin a new teaching series called “The Journey of Faith,” and I could not be more excited! Faith is not a destination; it’s a journey… A journey of following and being transformed by Jesus. The way we say it around here is Broken and vulnerable people experiencing life in Christ… But what does the journey look like?
In the coming weeks, we’ll explore that question and seek to identify the invitations of Jesus to each of us as we strive to experience life in Him. There is no more worthwhile pursuit! And I am eager to see how God uses this exploration to deepen our experience of life in Him, both individually and collectively as a church.
