The Pulse: Known and Loved

May 3, 2022

Lately, I’ve been contemplating Psalm 139, a majestic exploration of God’s intricate design and exhaustive knowledge of every human being. You can’t read the chapter without the overwhelming sense that God knows us and loves us… Every single one of us.

One of my favorite things we do as a church is partner with families impacted by disabilities. We call that ministry Access, and through it we strive to welcome an often marginalized community into the life of our church. We celebrate the way each of us were uniquely created with differing gifts and abilities by a Maker who knows and loves us.

Like all of our ministries at GFC, Access would not be possible without men and women who show up week after week to serve each person’s individual needs while pointing them to Jesus. We are in need of more folks to serve in this area so that we can continue making this type of positive impact. If you would like to learn more about serving in Access, click here!

It really is remarkable, isn’t it? That every one of us are known and loved by God. Let’s let that reality bear weight on our hearts today. And by God’s grace, let’s strive to be people who let others know that God knows and loves them, too.
