Dear GFC Community,

One of our values at GFC is Living Truth – conforming our attitudes and actions to the Bible. I am so grateful to be a part of a church that for over 40 years has esteemed and sought to teach God’s Word in an accurate and applicable way.

One of the ways we’re seeking to reinforce this value right now is through the GFC podcast. Most weeks, we release a podcast on Tuesday morning that is meant to be a deeper dive into the previous Sunday’s message. By sharing additional info and responding to listener questions, our hope is that the podcast functions as an extension of the teaching ministry and helps people encounter the life-changing truth of God’s Word in a deeper way.

This past Sunday, we jumped back into studying Paul’s letter to the Corinthians for the weeks leading up to Easter. All God’s people got problems, and the church at Corinth was no exception! Chapters 11-14 in particular reveal a pretty dysfunctional church and, at the same time, a gracious God who meets His people in the mess and invites us to something better together. Yesterday, we released a follow up podcast to Sunday’s message, and later this week we are releasing an additional episode on 1 Corinthians 11, so stay tuned for that!

You can access the podcast by clicking here or searching for GFCnow on Apple or Spotify.

I hope you are still making time in your daily rhythm to meet Jesus in the lonely place like we talked about several weeks ago. It’s not too late to begin setting aside 10 minutes a day for solitude and silence with Him.

Praying that God keeps transforming us as a people… for His glory.

Matt
