Women’s Events

Throughout the year, Grace Women offers retreats and special events as a catalyst for women to connect and grow. They provide opportunities for meaningful worship and concentrated times of teaching especially designed for women in a setting that is rejuvenating for the soul and bonding for relationships.

Upcoming events will be added as they are planned.

Women’s Groups

With a variety of settings, structure and content, Grace Women offers short-term groups and studies with the goal to provide opportunities for women to grow spiritually and connect relationally.

As Christians, we are not promised lives of ease. Only when we learn to spot the lovely in the midst of hardship can we experience the transcendent peace of God that keeps us persevering when we want to give up. In this 7 week study, we will look at the ordinary people of the Bible—fishermen, gardeners, women, soldiers—to reveal the moments they found beauty in everyday circumstances and hope in God’s timing.

When: 7-week group beginning Tuesday, Sept. 15,  Two time options: 10am or 6:30pm

Where: GFC, room 401

Cost: $14

Are you seeking healing from past abuse that you received while trusting others in a religious setting? That pain can make it hard to trust again and even harder to believe that God is truly safe. A six-week small group is meeting this fall to encourage and pray for each other around this issue. You are invited to be a part of a private Facebook group to study The Hurt & The Healer by Bart Millard and Andrew Farley and receive regular updates of encouragement from the Bible throughout the study. The book is recommended but not required.

This group is not moderated by a trained therapist and is not meant to take the place of a professional counselor to help work through emotional suffering from religious abuse. Referrals are available upon request.

When: 6 weeks, Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 16, 6:30pm.

*Deadline to join is Sept 13.
