Even When It Hurts

GFC Family,
Ten days ago, we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. I hope you were able to participate in one of our Easter services at GFC – it was a meaningful time!
It was actually the most well-attended weekend of services in GFC’s history (over 3,400 kids and adults were a part). A big reason for this was the fact that 1,800 Easter invitation cards were distributed by you… THANK YOU for the part you played in helping to invite folks in our community to hear the life-changing truth of Jesus’ death and resurrection.
This coming weekend, we jump in to part 2 of Even When It Hurts: a journey exploring what it means to struggle well from the book of Job (if you missed last week’s sermon, you can view it here). I was reminded this past Sunday that we ALL relate to Job, because to one degree or another, his story is our story! We are all fellow-strugglers in “the land of Uz” trying to make sense of life and pain and God…
Hope that you join us this next weekend as we look at how Job responded when he lost it all.
Grateful to be partners with you in the mission of Jesus and the journey of faith.
Grace and Peace,
Matt
