Love in Action
Good Samaritan Ministries
During our Love in Action initiative for the fall, from September to November, the GFC community served in various areas, including Rise Up for Kids, Elementary Serve, and Good Samaritan Ministries. Around 70 people served with Good Samaritan Ministries! Good Samaritan Ministries is a non-profit organization supporting the Northeast Tennessee area by assisting with rent/utilities, food, clothing, social services, and community events, spanning over nine counties. The particular way of serving was to pack and distribute holiday food boxes that met a tangible need for families in our community with food insecurity. There were four dates available to serve, spanning from November to December. We had a great turnout and a heart to serve by God’s grace!
