| The steadily rising temperatures, re-emergence of snowball stands, and gleeful delight of school-aged children can only mean one thing – summer is upon us.
At GFC, we’re starting the summer with a bang by having a special Summer Kickoff event next Sunday, June 12 at 12:30pm on the GFC lawn! This is a greatSunday for you to invite friends and neighbors to join you for one of our services and the festivities afterward. There will be lunch, inflatables, water games, giveaways, and more. A dunk tank for GFC Pastors might even be involved :). Find all the details here. That same weekend, we also launch a new teaching series on the book of Jonah. It’s more than a cute story about a whale… The book of Jonah confronts some of the worst tendencies that develop inside of us, but also points us to a God that is bigger and better than we could imagine. I can’t wait to explore the explosive story of Jonah together and see how God’s seemingly reckless love makes a difference in our lives today. See you this Sunday! Matt P.S.
