Dear GFC Community,
I once heard someone say, “We’re never more like God than when we give.” God so loved the world that he GAVE His one and only son… (John 3:16) And when we give to others, particularly when we give in a self-giving, sacrificial way, we bear resemblance to our Heavenly Father.
During October, we have the special opportunity to put our love in action and give specific items to support what God is doing through Kairos Prison Ministry, Restore Ukraine, Agape Women’s Services, and to feed the hungry in our community.
You can find all the details at gfcnow.com/loveinaction, but here is the gist of what we’re collecting during this month:

Diapers of all sizes for Agape Women’s Services

Coats (new or lightly used) for Restore Ukraine

Specific food items for Good Samaritan Ministries and Mountain View Elementary (click here to see details!)

Baked cookies for Kairos Prison Ministry to be collected Oct. 15 (click here to sign up to make cookies and view the recipe / packing instructions)
Items can be dropped off at GFC on Sundays or on weekdays during office hours. Consider how you can help with some or all of these tangible needs. And let us know if you have any questions! Grateful to be part of such a generous church…
