Onsite Services Update

Dear GFC Community,

I hope this finds you enjoying the cooler weather! If you missed yesterday’s worship service, you can watch it here. One important update we shared is that we are planning to resume onsite worship services on October 4th. The primary reason we pushed pause for onsite Sunday gatherings six weeks ago was local hospital capacity. Towards the end July and early August, our local health system was stressed and there was a real concern about capacity to provide adequate care to those who needed it. So out of a desire to love our community and exercise an abundance of caution, we chose to lay down our freedom to meet in-person and gathered online-only for a period of time.
But now, hospital demand seems to have peaked, and with the measures we have in place, we believe we can gather safely. So on October 4th, we will be gathering onsite at 9:15 and 11am, with limited children’s programming. You can find out more at gfcnow.com/updates. We will continue to gather online as well, so if that’s how you’ve been participating on Sundays, nothing is changing for you.

We don’t know what the next few months hold (and don’t pretend to know). What we will continue to do is prayerfully make the best decisions we can for our church and community. Thank you for being a part of what God is doing in and through the ministry of Grace Fellowship Church and sticking together during these tough times! Through engaging online, giving financially, serving others, and more, you have continued to BE the church, and I’m so very grateful.

Grace and Peace,

Matt
