Katelyn Bissett, Adult Ministry Assistant
Katelyn has been on staff at GFC for 7 years. Katelyn supports GFC’s outreach, groups and equipping, care and recovery, women’s, and young adults ministries. She enjoys all of the various things her job entails and getting to work with so many ministry leaders and areas.
What do you love about your volunteer team?
I might be a little biased, but our Young Adult Leadership Team is the best! I appreciate how much they show up and are engaged in the life of the Young Adult Ministry. It wouldn’t be the same without them.
What is something most people might not know about you?
I enjoy singing and was in choir throughout school.
Family & Pets
My husband’s name is John, and we got married last year! We don’t have any pets currently.
Hobbies
Reading, drinking coffee, spending time with friends, and being outside.
What is your favorite thing to do in Johnson City?
I love attending the Friday After 5 concerts downtown with friends during the summer.
What is your favorite place to travel?
I love the Pacific Northwest and Europe!
What is your favorite GFC memory?
I have so many good memories that it’s hard to pick just one! But maybe the Student Retreats I got to be involved in when serving in Student Ministry or attending staff retreats/ events with coworkers. They are always so fun!
