Autism Awareness Day

April 2nd is Autism Awareness Day! GFC is committed to encouraging and supporting individuals and families impacted by disabilities.

Access is a ministry for people living with disabilities where we celebrate the unique way God created each of us in His image.

Grace Access disABILITY Ministry supports families and individuals with disabilities and invites them into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our goal is to create an accepting church environment for individuals and families impacted by disabilities.

Thanks to the wonderful Access Ministry, those impacted by a disability have the opportunity to attend services each week. The adult Access class grows in their faith in Christ by engaging in weekly lessons and activities. Children’s Access provides a safe, loving environment for kiddos to experience the love of Christ while parents attend service. At GFC, we welcome and celebrate individuals of all abilities and strive to make this church a place where everyone can be a part of our community.

GFC also offers a community for families and caregivers of anyone who is impacted by disabilities of any kind. We want to foster a community of love, growth, and support where you can feel like you belong with others who are walking a similar path as you are.

Access continues to grow, and we currently have a high demand for additional volunteers. You can serve in our adult Access group, be a buddy with an elementary student, or be a one-on-one volunteer for kids who participate in Access sensory areas during Sunday services. We strive to welcome all children, adults, and families to GFC with open arms and provide a place where they belong, and your willingness to serve will accomplish that!
