The road that led me to GFC is one filled with unexpected twists and turns, but as I look back, it’s clear that all the roadblocks and changes in direction were God’s way of leading me to a place far greater than where I was headed on my own.  I am originally from Tryon, NC. Besides my four-year stint at Coker University in Hartsville, SC, I lived on the same road for twenty-eight years of my life. So, my roots run deep in Tryon.

 I am the youngest of four, and I have seven nephews and four nieces whom I adore. My parents own a local breakfast and lunch spot in Landrum, SC called Southern Manners. The restaurant opened when I was sixteen years old, so I have played any role from dishwasher to manager over the last thirteen years. Being a part of my family’s business has been a big part of my life. I have learned hard lessons, grown in my ability to lead and communicate, and have had the honor of watching my parents pour their hearts into our community. Something else it’s taught me is that I’d never want to own my own restaurant, but I have so much respect and admiration for the people that do!

I have always had a love for children and ministry. I had been a part of our children’s ministry at my previous church for several years and felt like God was leading me away from the restaurant in 2022. Consequently, for the last four years, I have taught second grade at a small, Christian school. It was a joy and honor to pour into the students that walked into my classroom. I will forever be thankful God opened that door for me.

I was in the middle of my second year of teaching when I met a guy named Daniel Miracle who lived in Johnson City, TN. Turns out, he was awesome and happened to attend Grace Fellowship Church. So, for two and a half years, I have been attending GFC when I would visit him on the weekends. Daniel proposed in February of this year, and we wed on July 11^th, 2026. God is so good, and we are so thankful for his faithfulness in bringing us together.

We are both so excited to call GFC our home church. Daniel serves as one of the young adults’ leaders, and now I am honored to be stepping into the Adult Ministries and Communications Assistant role at GFC. It is our heart to serve and love the community around us well and are so grateful for the opportunities GFC has provided for us to do so.

In our free time, we love going to the lake, playing pickleball, finding new coffee shops, and spending time with our friends! We’re looking forward to this chapter in our lives and building deeper relationships with the GFC community.
